Dr Michael Chong completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. He completed his basic surgical training in various hospitals in New Zealand, before commencing specialist training in urology in South Australia. He spent a year as a urology fellow at Monash Medical Centre, Melbourne, in general urology with an interest in urologic oncology, and in 2010 was awarded a fellowship in urology by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
Dr Michael Chong consults at the Tennyson Centre (Kurralta Park), Flinders Private Hospital and Mount Gambier. He operates at Tennyson Day Hospital, Ashford Hospital, Flinders Private Hospital and Mount Gambier Hospital.
